AUGUST 2018:  EXTENDED OPENING AT DUNBAR LEISURE POOL
enjoyleisure is delighted to announce an extension to the opening hours of its premier attraction and sports facility Dunbar Leisure Pool. With immediate effect on Monday mornings the Bodyworks Gym facility will open from 6:30am, while the swimming pool will open from 7:30am.

JULY 2018:  DOUBLE HONOUR FOR DUNBAR LEISURE POOL
One of East Lothian’s premier visitor destinations and leisure facilities is jumping for joy after receiving not one but two prestigious visitor accolades.  Dunbar Leisure Pool has received a four-star grading from VisitScotland’s Quality Assurance (QA) Scheme in recognition of its excellent standards; and a Certificate of Excellence Award by international renowned travel site TripAdvisor based on customer feedback and reviews.

JULY 2018:  ACCESS TO LEISURE UPDATE
Both East Lothian Council and enjoyleisure are committed to supporting equality and community wellbeing, as well as offering pathways to support individuals and families to access Sport & Leisure facilities across the county.  During the latest scheme review, East Lothian Council and enjoyleisure have agreed a price increase should be applied to the Access to Leisure scheme 'off-peak' admission rate, which will take effect from Monday 16th July.

FEB 2018: EAST LOTHIAN FOODBANK RECEIVES DONATION FROM ENJOYLEISURE EMPLOYEES

We were delighted to welcome Peter from the East Lothian Foodbank to an employee engagement workshop last week. Staff recently completed a survey within which they were able to nominate an East Lothian charity to be the recipient of a donation for every survey completed.

The Foodbank was delighted to receive the gift of £150 which will assist them in their tireless efforts to assist those in need across the county.

APRIL 2017:  NEW SPIN BIKES 
Exciting news spin fans .... we have a special delivery for you... Musselburgh, Meadowmill and Dunbar Leisure Pool are receiving delivery of brand new spin-bikes TODAY (3rd April 2017).    Loch Centre, North Berwick and Aubigny we've not forgotten about you. New spin bikes are on order for you too which we hope to have delivered by the end of the month! 

 

MARCH 2017:  NATIONAL POOL LIFEGUARD QUALIFICATION
The Loch Centre, Tranent is running an NPLQ course on Wed 5th - Fri 7th and Wed 12th - Fri 14th April 2017.   (Attendance required on all dates).

DEC 2016:  FORTH ONE CASH FOR KIDS APPEAL - A MASSIVE THANK YOU!!
We are overwhelmed by the generously of our customers and your contributions to the Forth One Mission Christmas Cash of Kids Appeal!

Today (12th Dec) we collected all of your donations together from each of the Sports Centres & brought them "Santa HQ" at the Gyle Shopping Centre.  Again a massive thank you to everyone who donated, you are going to make many children smile this Christmas!!

APRIL 2016: CLIMBING SUCCESS FOR TRANENT CLIMBING CLUB 
Tranent’s Forester Park Climbing Club were celebrating last month following the successes achieved by its young climbers at the Scotland South qualifiers of the Youth Climbing Series Competitions organised by Climb Scotland.

MARCH 2016: FIRST 'GRACE'S SIGN' INSTALLED IN EAST LOTHIAN
Monday 21st March 2016, marks a milestone in the campaign driven by 10 year old Grace Warnock from Prestonpans, to raise awareness about the use of accessible toilets by individuals with ‘invisible disabilities’. Joined by her mum and grandmother, local Councillors, Deputy Provost Jim Gilles and members of the enjoyleisure Management Team, Grace officially unveiled the first ‘Grace’s Sign’ to be installed in East Lothian at the Loch Centre, Tranent.

OCT 2015:  £1.6 MILLION MAINTENANCE UPGRADE FOR DUNBAR LEISURE POOL
One of East Lothian’s premier leisure and tourist attractions, Dunbar Leisure Pool is set to receive a £1.6+ million investment this autumn as its owner’s enjoyleisure, announce large-scale plans to give the Centre a maintenance upgrade that will secure the presence of this highly popular visitor destination for years to come.

JULY 2015: EAST LOTHIAN'S ANNUAL GYMNASTICS COMPETITION. 
A total of 221 budding gymnasts from across East Lothian participated in the Annual East Lothian Gymnastics Competition at Meadowmill Sports Centre on Sunday 28th June. Now in its 4th year, the event attracts participants from recreational classes from local schools and sports centres as well as the members of the 3 local gymnastics clubs. JUNE 2015: DISABILITY RUNNING BIKES LAUNCHED
On Saturday 20th June, Lothian Leopards Disability Athletics Club, enjoyleisure and Lothian Disability Sport officially launched the arrival of four disability running bikes at the East Lothian Athletics Arena, Meadowmill Sports Centre. APRIL 15:  SWIMS FOR TINS DONATIONS GRATEFULLY RECEIVED 
enjoyleisure and the East Lothian Foodbank would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended Dunbar Leisure Pool on Saturday 21st March and participated in the Swims for Tins appeal!  In total the donations equated to 117kg, which equates to 200 individual meals for people in food crisis in East Lothian.

MAR 15: HERO PUPIL PRAISED AT SCHOOL ASSEMBLY
enjoyleisure was thrilled to be invited to a special prizing giving at Pinkie St Peter's Primary School this morning to award 'Hero' Pupil Jay Mackay (11) with an award for his prompt actions when he saw an elderly man collapse at Prestonpans beach.
