Tumble Bugs

Tumbe Bugs provides a safe, fun environment where your child can be active and learn / explore the fundamentals of movement. In this class the child works directly with their parent/ guardian alongside the coaches doing various different activities that will help the little one to develop social, physical, lingual, intellectual, creative and emotional awareness.

Class Structure

The basic structure of the Tumble Bugs class is:

Circle Time (10-15 mins)
The first section of the class is lead by the coaches, usually containing songs, hand apparatus and basic movement skills where the parent / adult works with the child to guide them through the programme. This may be focussed around a theme.

Equipment (25-30mins)
This is followed by free-play on the equipment, again with the adult working with the child, assisted by the coaches to enable skills such as rolls and swings etc. In this class we promote parent and child interaction. The parent should ensure that a safe environment is maintained for their child throughout the class.

Cool Down (5 mins)
Usually a song or rhyme bringing all the children together before the end of the class.
