ACCESS TO LEISURE SCHEME

The Access to Leisure Scheme is an East Lothian Council initiative open to East Lothian residents which is administered by enjoyleisure.

What facilities can I access?

The Access to Leisure Scheme provides discounted entry to:

Sports Centres
- Bodyworks Gyms
- Swimming Pools
- Health Suites
- Fitness Classes
- Racket Sports
- Children’s Sports Coaching Programmes

Golf Courses
- Musselburgh Links, The Old Golf Course
- Winterfield Golf Course, Dunbar

What discounts do I receive?

The Access to Leisure scheme allows use of East Lothian Leisure Facilities:

• Monday to Friday between 9am – 4.45pm (last booking 4.30pm) for £1.50 per session 
• Reduced rates at all other times
   

Who Can Apply?

Applications are open to residents of East Lothian whose individual or family circumstances meet the requirements of one of the categories listed within the attached Application Form.

One application form must be completed for each adult person in the family who is applying.

How Do I Apply?

Please complete the Application Form and present this, with your evidence documentation to any Sports Centre, East Lothian Community Centre or Local Council Area Office.

Your photograph(s) will be taken and retained on our computerised booking system for entry identificiation.

How much does it cost?

There is no charge to apply for an Access to Leisure Scheme!
 

What evidence is required?

The Application Form details all of the eligibility criteria and the documentation required.

• Any award letter must be dated within the last 12 months, stating the benefit name and beneficiary.
• Applicants in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance must show evidence no more than 3 months old.
